I am Aravind Asokan, a user experience designer with over 14 years of professional experience. Having completed my undergraduate degree from India's National Institute of Design at Ahmedabad, I worked in the aerospace and automotive industries solving complex problems at the intersection of user experience design, industrial design, and human factors. I completed my master's degree in engineering and management from the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2016 as a fellow of the System Design and Management program jointly offered by MIT School of Engineering and MIT Sloan School of Management.

As a designer, I thrive on solving complex, ambiguous problems. I have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and lots of experience performing in and leading small scrappy teams. My lasting friendships from my very first job onwards speak to my collegial nature, and I have built warm working relationships rooted in respect at all of my previous workplaces. My sense of adventure has led me to seek out some of the more difficult design problems to solve. I am a transportation enthusiast, pilot, drummer, scale model builder, photographer, soccer player and motorcyclist in my free time.
